This little treasure features a beautiful contrast between its fine, mutton-fat white jade and its rich orange-red natural skin. Viewed from one side, the colour forms a classic Tian Di Hong Pi (天地红皮) pattern, with warm red skin concentrated at both ends and delicate orange-red markings spreading across the white jade. The effect is reminiscent of autumn leaves against soft white jade, bringing warmth and character to the stone.

Beneath the colourful skin, the jade body has a fine, smooth texture and a soft, oily lustre, qualities especially appreciated in Hetian nephrite. Its compact, naturally shaped form makes it a charming addition to a collection of original seed pebbles.
