This ring features a beautiful golden cat-eye Russian nephrite cabochon with a soft yellow-green body color and a remarkably strong, clear cat-eye effect. The central band of light moves through the stone as the viewing angle changes. The color has a warm, golden glow while retaining the soft, calm character typical of nephrite. Rather than being a loud or highly saturated color, it has an elegant, understated beauty that becomes more interesting under different light.
The jade is cut into a substantial rounded cabochon and its smooth dome allows the cat-eye effect to remain the focus, while the generous thickness gives the stone a satisfying presence on the hand.
