This pendant presents a beautifully carved Laughing Buddha in highly translucent, glassy Jadeite, with a striking area of Floating Bright Green (or expressed as Yang Green 飘阳绿) concentrated across the lower portion of the carving. The body of the Buddha is exceptionally clear and luminous, with light traveling deeply through the jade and creating the crisp, almost glass-like brilliance characteristic of high-translucency Jadeite. The natural Bright Green appears vividly within the otherwise pale, translucent body, creating a dramatic contrast and giving the Buddha an especially lively presence. The carving makes particularly effective use of the jade's natural color distribution. The vivid green flows across the Buddha's lower body and belly, while the upper portion remains beautifully clear and softly translucent. Rather than being artificially uniform, the color forms a natural floating pattern within the stone, making the carving visually dynamic and completely individual.
